Did you know that over 500 million pickleballs are produced every year? I’m on a mission to keep used/broken pickleballs from ending up in a landfill. “Krafts With Karen” has been rescuing pickleballs from ending up in the trash for the past three years, even before I decided how to repurpose them! Why is this important? Unfortunately, discarded pickleballs add up quickly. Some estimates say that 77 million pounds of landfill waste can be attributed to pickleball! Now, discarded balls are given new life as Christmas ornaments, each one is hand-crafted and unique – no two are alike!
